Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Business Development professional to manage corporate partnerships and alumni engagement initiatives. This role plays a key part in expanding our external network, strengthening long-term collaboration, and supporting strategic growth activities. The position requires a dynamic individual who can engage confidently with corporate stakeholders, maintain meaningful alumni connections, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the organisation’s reputation and outreach. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams, ensuring that all partnership and engagement efforts align with organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support alumni engagement programmes by coordinating communication, events, and community initiatives
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across relevant sector
- Assist in preparing detailed partnership proposals, presentations, and pitch materials
- Maintain CRM databases, track engagement activities, and generate accurate reports for leadership
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of all partnership activities
- Participate in external meetings, networking events, and outreach programmes to promote the organisation
- Contribute to strategic planning and provide insights based on market trends and partner feedback
- Build and maintain strong, sustainable corporate relationships that support organisational goals.
Requirements

2–4 years of business development experience

Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders

Experience in corporate engagement, B2B relationship management, or institutional partnerships is preferred

Excellent organisational, coordination, and follow-up abilities with strong attention to detail

Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Competence in preparing presentations, proposals, and professional communication material

Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting tools, and basic market research practices
