Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales of banking and financial products including Insurance, SIPs, Mutual Funds, Stocks, and Demat Accounts. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, maintaining client relationships, and achieving business growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers for financial products such as Insurance, SIPs, Mutual Funds, Stocks, and Demat Accounts.
  • Promote and sell banking and investment products to prospective clients.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, referrals, field visits, and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer financial needs and provide suitable investment solutions.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Assist clients with Demat account opening and investment processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and customer support.
  • Stay updated with market trends, financial products, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of banking, insurance, SIP, mutual funds, and stock market products
  • Client relationship management skills
  • Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
An MBA is an added advantage

Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in Banking Sales, Insurance, Mutual Funds, or Financial Services
  • Experience in Demat account sales and investment products is preferred
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Customer acquisition numbers
  • Revenue generation
  • Demat account openings
  • SIP and Mutual Fund sales volume
  • Client retention rate
